Summer 1 News Week 4 May 7th

Good morning everyone,

Cougars enjoyed their Samba session yesterday and I am sure the rest of the school did as well !  I listened to a presentation given by the Core Knowledge Trust which is the organisation with whom we are working to develop our school curriculum. Please remember to fill out our quick curriculum survey as this will help us to give your child the best experience possible.

Staff Car Park

I have noticed that we have an increasing number of parents using the staff car park to drop off children in the mornings. I do understand that the current staggered gate timings are challenging but the numbers of cars are now impacting on the safety of children and parents waiting to enter the school site. We have sent out reminders but to no avail so from today during school hours our car park gates will be closed.

Don’t forget our Reading Challenge- keep on reading

Please encourage your child to read at home. Remember reading at least 4 x per week- 1 sticker on our reading challenge chart. Reading more than this = 2 stickers. When children earn enough stickers they can choose a reward from our School Council shop,

I hope you have a good day and a relaxing weekend,
Mrs Mason
