Summer 1 News Week 7 May 24th

Good morning everyone,

A sunny start! This is the final week of this 1/2 term and you will be receiving your child’s report on Friday. This is the final report before we send you our full academic report in July. Please take time to look at how well your child is doing in school. Please contact us if you have any concerns.

Well done Ivan and Noah for sharing your super work with me.

Please let us know if your child is unwell and unable to attend school as soon as possible. This saves us having to chase you for a reason. Currently our attendance is just below the national average and we have seen lots of coughs and sore throats but hopefully this will improve.

School Shoes
Please remember that our policy for school shoes is that children can wear formal black shoes, short boots or black trainers. We do have a number of children wearing different coloured trainers. Can I ask that you replace this with the correct footwear as soon as possible. Thank you.
PE uniform
Thank you for supporting our PE uniform policy (see below)

Don’t forget our Reading Challenge – stickers counted on Thursday,

Why do we need to support our children to read more.

Reading is such an important skill and we really need all children to be reading regularly at home. We do have increasing numbers of children earning stickers on their reading charts and being able to choose something from the School Council shop. Thank you for your support with this and keep reading.

I hope you have a good day.
Mrs Mason
