We have identified the following priorities within our Pupil Premium Strategy:
- Improved attendance and punctuality.
- Improved Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Increase use of evidence based interventions to improve academic outcomes across school.
- Improved language skills.
- Increased opportunities for pupils to access the wider curriculum
- Increased parental engagement in order to support pupil’s learning in school as well as at home

Sports Premium
At Castle Academy, we are committed to providing high quality physical education, sport and physical activity opportunities for all pupils. The PE and Sport Premium funding enables us to enhance our curriculum, develop staff expertise, broaden participation in sporting activities, and promote healthy, active lifestyles. We carefully plan and monitor the impact of this funding to ensure it benefits all children and supports their physical development, wellbeing, confidence and enjoyment of sport.
