I am delighted to inform you that our school has been judged as good in all areas in our Ofsted inspection. This means that the effectiveness of leadership, the quality of teaching and learning, outcomes for pupils, personal development, behaviour and welfare and the Early Years are all judged as good. This is a fantastic achievement and means that the school has moved from being in need of Special Measures in May 2016 to good overall in May 2019. I have attached the report for you to read.
In November 2019 we took part in a Challenge Partnership review. This is a 2 day review undertaken by a team made up of senior leaders and inspectors from other local authorities. I am thrilled to tell you that this year’s review was highly successful with the school making progress in all areas. I have uploaded the report below.
I know that the last few years have been challenging and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support of the school and its staff team. Together we can continue to move forward making Castle Academy outstanding and the school families choose.
